Agro Market – New Family Friendly Attraction To Visit
Agro Market attracts crowds with its reasonable entry fees and a spacious layout with mini attractions to explore.
As long as you can handle a bit of uphill walking, you should be able to make the most of your visit here easily.
What to do they have in store here? Find out in this post.
Highlights
Gardens
After you get your tickets for the park, one of the first things you will see are these massive flower covered mounds.
Our first impression here was that this garden looks similar to Cameron Highlands Flora Park.
Besides these, there are some roses and lavender bushes (not too many but enough for a photo).
We think the hanging vines behind the flower hills are especially pretty.
If you walk further into the park, past the aviary, there is a full wall of succulents and a section of beautiful cacti too.
There are a lot of other flowers to see, even at the very top of Agro Market so we recommend that you explore the whole area fully.
Aviary
If you plan to make your way from the bottom to the top of the park, the next section you will see is the aviary.
It is hidden from view from the entrance, and you don’t have to pay any extra fees to enter the aviary.
You can feed budgerigars straight from your hand if you want. Staff will be there to hand out bird seed (free of charge).
Many different birds live here including a solitary grey African parrot.
Sheep Section
Beside the aviary is a gate that leads up to a small enclosure where they keep the couple of sheep and one alpaca.
There’s clearly not enough room for these animals to freely roam around sadly. They’re just here to attract visitors.
Mini Santorini
There are no seaside views at this Santorini. The white and blue buildings here are fake. You can enter some of the doors but there are only empty spaces behind them.
It’s still a great place to pretend you are in Greece for the sake of photos.
Pet Section
Above the Mini Santorini section, you’ll find neat enclosures of rabbits and cats. The cat section is much more impressive – they have all manners of cat trees and houses.
You cannot go inside to pet any of the animals and only observe them from the outside.
On-site Cafes
There are two places where you can sit down and have something to eat inside Agro Market.
Rainbow umbrellas mark the first which has a smoking section and a non-smoking section and it’s on the ground level of the park.
And the second café is at the very top of Agro Market. It’s more spacious here. And they serve light bites, cakes, tea, and ice cream.
Note: There are also market stalls, a food court, a café and a restaurant immediately outside of Agro Market.
Entrance Fees
It costs RM20 per adult to enter Agro Market. With newer attractions charging RM40 per adult, this makes Agro Market a more appealing attraction to visit.
There used to be fees for the car park, but these have been waived off.
Getting To Agro Market
Parking is no issue when it comes to this place since they have a wide open-air car park. This reason alone makes Agro Market very accessible to the public.
But if you are not planning to drive to Cameron Highlands, our private tours can fetch you to many sightseeing spots in Cameron Highlands. We don’t have a limit to the number of places you can visit during your tour.
Pick-ups are only from Ipoh though. These are private tours which means we don’t allow mixing of different tour groups. Our typical hours are 8:30am to 6pm.

Conclusion
Entrance fees for Agro Market are the same as Lavender Garden. And because there is so much more to see here than at the latter, we do recommend coming here instead.
The park is well maintained and our only complaints about this place is that they don’t neuter their cats, and that the sheep and alpaca don’t have enough space.
