Rose Valley – Flower Garden With Low Entry Fees To Explore
Rose Valley has been welcoming visitors for many years. Decades even. In fact, this is one of the oldest attractions around.
What kind of flowers can you see here? And is the garden worth the entry fees?
Find out in this post.
Highlights
This place is bigger than it looks. We started our exploration by climbing up as high as we could go and then making our way back down.
If you’re not up for the climb (and kind of a risky one at that), you can skip exploring the upper part of the garden.
The lower part of the garden is much neater with fountains, garden sculptures, and swings while upper parts of the garden need some tidying up.
Truthfully, there’s nothing else to see here but just flowers.
If roses are not in bloom, you always have other flowers to see. Like hibiscus, lilies, mona lavender, hydrangea, orange honeysuckle, Angel’s trumpet, etc.
We even saw a manuka flower bush here!
Rose Valley like other attractions, may have had a mini zoo at one point, but it looks like they’re not planning on continuing it.
And a good thing too, since we saw that the peacock enclosure had uncomfortable metal flooring and was right over a raging stream!
Entry Fees
The entrance of Rose Valley has flowers for sale. The ticket counter is here, and you’ll have to pass it before going down to the actual garden.
These are the lowest entry fees we have seen for a garden in Cameron Highlands. It costs RM5 for adults to enter, and RM3 for kids to enter.
If you’re looking for an entirely free attraction to visit, there is Green View Garden although they don’t have as many flowers as Rose Valley.
Getting Here
If you’re not too confident about driving to this place or navigating the gardens on your own, you can include this attraction in your itinerary as part of a private tour with Explore Camerons.
Our day tours from Ipoh to Cameron Highlands are our most popular tours and they allow visitors to see as many attractions as possible without having to worry about logistics.

Things To Note
- Paths to the higher section of the garden are in bad condition – they can be worn out or slippery due to moss.
- This is not a stroller or wheelchair friendly venue
- Toilets are outdated but clean and free to use
- Roses are not always in bloom
- Not fully covered from the rain – 2 of 3 sections are covered
- Seldom crowded
- No on-site café but there is one close to the entrance of Rose Valley, along with some roadside vegetable stalls
- Street parking only
Conclusion
When the roses are in bloom, Rose Valley can be a very beautiful place to enjoy the fresh air with family.
O&R Garden and Lavender Garden are another alternative garden that you can visit instead. And if you don’t mind the higher entry fees, you can spend hours at CH Flora Park.
Agro Technology Park MARDI Cameron Highlands
In case you are going to Agro Technology Park MARDI Cameron Highlands, you should know that this place has a rose section too. It’s small but there are other roses to be found in the park. And of many different colors too. Even if the maintenance could be better.
